Plan your visit today with our easy-to-use online reservations system. Sunset Sands RV Park is located just thirty minutes north of the Canso Causeway, which links Cape Breton Island to mainland Nova Scotia. It's easy to head off for a day in Halifax, exploring Cape Sable and the rest of this colorful province. On Cape Breton Island, you'll find the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, a great place to hike, bird watch, wildlife watch, and admire the views. |
| Our Port Hood RV park has 55 full-service RV sites with 50 and 30 amps of power, satellite TV, and FREE wi-fi wireless internet access. We also offer 20 tenting sites as well. We're set across the road from the beach and we're open May 15 to October 19. A full service laundromat and clean bathroom facilities are centrally located in the RV park. We have rental RVs available as well as tent campsites and great seasonal and monthly rates. From mid-June to mid-September, guests have complimentary use of a pool complex across the road (Wharf Road), which has adult and children's salt water pools and a large hot tub. |

Port Hood boasts the warmest waters in Eastern Canada and has five beaches, including two within walking distance of Sunset Sands RV Park. Stay with us while you head out on day trips to hear amazing Celtic music at Judique's Celtic Music Interpretive Centre and Mabou's The Red Shoe Pub.
