OFFICIAL TRAINING CAMP OF HOWELL HS XC TEAM!
The Howell High School Cross County Team is Amazing!
Every August since 2005, they come for a week of training camp at Stony Haven.
They strengthen their bodies and character by running the trails and dunes,
and by helping us with labor intensive projects.
To date, they have removed leaves, brush and old electrical boxes;
split, stacked and hauled wood; replaced fencing; landscaped playground and gardens;
spread mulch on trails, and thinned blackberry bushes.
Thanks to them, Stony Haven is in great shape for the camping season.
