Swimming, fishing, sailing or just camping are some of the activities that you can enjoy on the Green Peter Reservoir. Bring your jet ski, speed boat or fishing boat and enjoy the beautiful waters of Green Peter Reservoir. From the campground to the reservoir it is a quick drive in the car or about a 2 mile hike.

| Hiking and bird watching are some of the things you can do while you're not playing on the water. The day-use area which is within walking distance of the group camping area.

There is a group designated camping area which is separate from the individual campground. The group area holds upto 100 people and does have two water faucets and a vault toilet facility. In this lush forested area there are around 25 picnic tables for your family meals plus there is plenty of room for families with tents and lots of space to park those trailers and motorhomes on the asphalt parking lot. There is an unofficial day-use area which is within walking distance of the group camping area. Please contact the Linn County Parks Department to reserve the group area (541)967-3917. |
