"Relive the Legend of the Old West"
Step back in time and experience the sights, sounds and smells of the old west. While staying with us at Water Sports Campground & RV Park visit Dodge City and the many attractions that the "Queen of the Cowtowns" has to offer. For starters, Water Sports Campground & RV Park is the closest park to Boot Hill Museum and Front Street. Boot Hill Museum is an accredited western- history village museum located on the original site of Boot Hill Cemetery in downtown Dodge City. Life in the 19th century is interpreted through audio-visual programs, exhibits, a reconstruction of Dodge City in 1876 and old west restorations.

  • Wax Museum & Teacher's Hall of Fame
    • See the life size wax sculptures of many famous gunfighters who shaped the old west, and tour what was dedicated to the teachers who shape the future.
  • Home of Stone
    • Open June - August or by appointment in the winter months. This house was made with native limestone in 1881, and has many of the original furnishings on display.
  • Cemetery/Museum
    • The Boot Hill Museum is located on the very site of the Boot Hill Cemetary and features a gunfight re-enactment.
  • Fort Dodge
    • Take a walking tour of some Old Fort Buildings
