Elk Viewing Carriage Ride, Gourmet Dinner & Wine Tasting
This memorable event includes a charming horse drawn carriage ride through the woods into the Elk Preserve to see majestic elk, but that is only the beginning. Then it's on to the The Elk Antler Log Cabin where culinary artist Jan Matthias prepares an outstanding five course gourmet dinner before you on antique wood cook stoves. The wine tasting is woven throughout dinner allowing you to sample several varieties of wine produced locally at Stoney Acres Winery. Following dinner, its back aboard the carriages for the return trip to the resort. The summer event boasts bull with their large antlers in velvet. September through October promises beautiful fall color and very active bull displaying their mating rituals. With winter's snowy covering it becomes a cozy horse drawn sleigh ride
