| The Springs at Borrego RV Resort features a full array of indoor and outdoor activities, beginning with the nine-hole championship golf course. The course, designed by David Pfaff, features a dramatic island green, lakes, and waterfalls. The course totals 3,084 championship yards, 2,894 yards from the white tees and 2,646 from the front tees. There are two par 3's, five par 4's and two par 5's for the 36-par course. The course posts a 111-slope rating and a 33.9 course rating for 9-holes to challenge all skill levels. The golf course also features a full length driving range, putting and chipping area, and a Pro Shop. The Springs at Borrego RV Resort welcomes individuals, golf clubs, and guests alike to enjoy a game of championship golf. |

Hiking at slot canyon
|
Amongst the variety of landscapes in southern California's Anza Borrego Desert State Park are numerous canyons, ranging from V-shaped valleys at the edge of the mountains in the north and west to rocky washes in the desert areas of the south and east. These are mostly quite shallow, except where they cut through certain resistant sandstone layers, where they form slot canyons up to 100 feet deep and typically narrow for half a mile or so. The rocks tend to be rather weathered and pale in color, they do have interesting rock textures and are generally easy to explore. A frequently visited canyon known simply as The Slot is reached by CA 78 which crosses the middle of the park. 1.5 miles east of the junction with Borrego Springs Road and 5 miles west of Ocotillo Wells. |
