After talking with other park owners and people that own RVs we determined that the majority of people value space in an RV park over most other considerations. All of our spaces are angled pull thrus with room for an RV and 2 cars. The roads in the park are 20 feet wide. The park is 8 acres in total and has 37 spaces. We have seen parks with double the RV slots in the same space where we have half the number of slots.

| Sunset RV Park is in Sunset,Texas in a rural area surrounded by ranches,farms and several small country towns. The city of Sunset has a population of fewer than 500. There are a lot of interesting things to do in this quiet country setting or you can go into Dallas-Fort Worth to see the big city. The nice thing about this is that you stay in the country without traffic and congestion yet you are close enough to venture into the city within 1 hour.

| The owners of the park have been in this area of Texas for over 45 years and have entertained a lot of out of town company. They can tell you where Bonnie and Clyde are buried in Dallas or about an old campsite of Jessie and Frank James is in the nearby area. So finding the best restaurant or telling you about major attractions like the Kennedy Sixth Floor Museum or the Fort Worth Stock Yards are easy in comparison. Feel free to ask about the area when you call and no matter what you want to see they can probably direct you to it or send and email asking for information. There are so many things to see in Central Texas that you can spend quite a lot of time here. Be sure and look at the local activities page on our website. |
