| Our area is known for its amazing fairs and festivals, beginning with the Mt. Angel's Annual Oktoberfest, held in October each year. Visit Mt. Of course, the festival also hosts a superb beer garden in addition to the car shows and arts and crafts shows. In late May, the nearby town of Keizer hosts the annual Iris Festival when these stunning flowers bloom across the Oregon countryside. |

| During the first weekend of August, our own town of Silverton pays tribute to its most famous son, cartoonist Homer Davenport, during Homer Davenport Days. Join in the cartoon drawing contest, view the races, tour the arts and crafts fair, or just come to enjoy the delectable goodies at the food court. Then stay on at our Salem RV park, enjoying the free wi-fi wireless internet and cable TV access at every RV site, for the annual Silverton Fine Arts Festival in late August.
