| Being directly on the river allows guests unlimited access to the Sacramento River, as well as providing endless water recreation. Fishing is excellent with an abundance of rainbow trout, white sturgeon, striped bass, and king salmon being pulled from the waters. The resort even has an onsite guide for drift boat fishing trips. Swimming in the river or the pool is refreshing on warm days. The river banks are also an ideal place to soak up the sun, take a nature walk, or just relax by the water. The outdoor fun continues with tennis courts, basketball, horseshoe pits, a driving range, and three miles of golf course. There are picnic tables and barbecues throughout the park for that essential outdoor meal, or gather in the clubhouse. |

The Turtle Bay Exploration Park features a unique sundial bridge, museum, an arboretum & gardens, and more. The Sacramento River Trail is perfect for all ages and offers fantastic views of the river as well as insights into Redding's early history and natural surroundings. There are several state parks and natural areas close to Sacramento River RV Park that offer lakes, marinas, ranger-guided activities, and even gold panning. There are even caverns to explore near Lake Shasta!
