With our amazing in-camp activities,special events, and all the attractions of the local area, you're sure to find plenty to do when you stay with us at Rutledge Lake Resort, our RV park in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can join us for fun on our catch-and-release fishing lake,campfire at your sites,then take a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The kids are sure to enjoy our deluxe playground, games area, and trips to 1000-acre Chimney Rock Park with its wildlife and hiking trails. Our area is filled with breathtaking waterfalls, amazing scenery, and dramatic color when the leaves change in the fall. We are one hour away from 8 ski resorts. |

In the local countryside, you'll find opportunities for hiking and mountain biking along mountain trails, horseback riding,gem mining and rock climbing. So many sights to see such as Lake Lure,50 feet Water falls,picking world famous apples in Hendersonville.Rutledge Lake is less than half an hour from many beautiful sites. The Blue Ridge Mountains await you. You can take a hot air balloon ride high above the Blue Ridge Mountains or hike the famous Appalachian Trail that runs from Maine to Georgia. Try river rafting on the French Broad River, visit a local farm, or head to Grandfather Mountain, the highest peak in the Blue Ridge. This incredible nature preserve offers endless vistas, the famous Mile High Swinging Bridge, bears, cougars, otters, and eagles.

| Holidays are a special time at Rutledge Lake Campground. We pull out all the stops for the major holidays, from Mother's Day to the Fourth of July. Children of all ages can enjoy a ride aboard the bright little Rutledge Express train, and getting their hands dirty with crafts. In the Fall, we have Octoberfest, LEAF Festival,come see Asheville at our CampGround near Asheville. At our Western North Carolina Campground, we really know how to turn on the fun! |
