| Rocky Hollow Horse Camp at Mt. Rogers is located on nearly 40 acres off Rocky Hollow Road, on the southern side of Troutdale, Va.,just under the shoulder of the highest mountain in the state. Our family has been coming to Mt. Rogers National Recreation area to ride for 30 years and have enjoyed the areas natural beauty and serenity. The camp was established in 2003 and has been a true family-run endeavor. With most of the development work being completed, we are ready to offer campsites to our fellow trailriding families! In addition to camp sites, one cabin has been refurbished and repaired and is ready for rental. Tucked in a hollow of the mountain, the Greene Cabin is very private, with a central rock fireplace with gas logs surrounded by large living/sleeping area. From the screen porch, guests can listen to a small creek that crosses the property nearby.

| Ride directly from Camp Road at Rocky Hollow horse Camp onto the National Forest to access all trails. Numerous other trails connect to this access trail and some of the most popular sites in the Mt. Rogers National Recreation area are a short ride from the camp, including The Scales on Pine Mountain, Rhododendron Gap, the top of Mt. Rogers, and the First, Second and Third Peaks. |
