| Riverwalk RV Park & Campground is a family-oriented park providing activities for the whole family to enjoy. Take everyone on a nature hike in the hills and marvel at the impressive trees, or spend an afternoon at the pool playing and splashing. The Eel River is very close and features fishing, swimming, and boating. There are plenty of outdoor games as well, including basketball, horseshoes, frisbee, and hide 'n seek. Kids will love the playground and everyone can enjoy billiards, ping pong, and watching TV in the rec room. The rec room also offers a full kitchen, reading area, DVD, VCR, and plenty of room for groups and rallies. |
| When it's time to explore the area, you will find plenty of things to do. Fortuna is a historic farming town that today, offers an interesting
history, many outstanding restaurants, and shops of all kinds. Just 15
minutes down the road from the park is Ferndale, one of the most popular
attractions in the area offering Victorian architecture, quaint shops, and old world charm. There are also two very important natural attractions within a short drive: the old growth Redwood Forest and the Pacific Ocean. Take a leisurely drive through the historic trees on the nearby Avenue of the Giants. The Headwaters Forest is just a few miles from the park. The Pacific Ocean provides miles of uncrowded sandy beaches, perfect for exploring, beachcombing and walking the surf. |
