This beautiful lake was built in the 1920's. The lake is spring fed-so it never goes down. The Lake is approximately 15 acres with no moss due to the constant flow of water from the spring. The local college checks the water quality yearly to insure its high purity. Nature is abundant throughout the park. With your camera you are likely to catch a photo of a deer getting a drink of spring water, or even a bald eagle catching a fish in the lake! So bring your cameras along with your fishing pole.
Be careful not to snag one of the many ducks or geese roaming freely!
You are invited to stroll the natural paths or jog around the lake. Remember, it's a 15 acre Lake! |
