| Stunning Lake Travis, accessible through our neighboring Pace Bend County Park, is an amazing place to go for a day trip. Make Pace Bend RV Park your home base while you head out for days of largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing, catfish and sunfish fishing, and even white bass and striped bass fishing. Fish for white bass in the Spring months on the creeks and on the Pedernales River. Striped bass is easiest to catch at the lower end of the reservoir. Horseback riding, hiking, and golfing are also available here. And don't forget to bring the inner tubes, water skis, wake boards, and other water toys when you visit Lake Travis! |
| Be sure to take the time to explore Austin during your stay at Pace Bend RV Park. Texas's capital city has plenty to offer, beginning with a vibrant live music scene and first-rate restaurants. You can also take a tour of the capitol building and the exquisite Texas Governor's Mansion. Kids will enjoy a stop at the Austin Children's Museum, and you'll always find great sporting events going on at the University of Texas at Austin. |

| The open fields and rolling hills of Texas Hill Country offer a wide variety of possibilities. You can head out for a hike or horseback ride, go on a scenic drive through the hills, or set a course for the LBJ Library and Museum or the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. If the warm summer weather is too much to handle, head to the water slides and wave pools at Schlitterbahn Waterpark. There's always something fun going on in our part of Texas! |
