Texas Motor Speedway - Located between Fort Worth and Denton, the Texas Motor Speedway is the place to go for racing fans. The 160,000-seat facility features 8 and 24-degree turns and dual-banked turns allowing NASCAR and Indy-style racing. Many of the events held at the speedway are broadcast on network television. Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo - The nation's oldest stock show has been thrilling onlookers with their livestock shows and rodeo since 1896. Visitors can attend exciting stock show or rodeos by general admission. Attend livestock auctions and show, educational programs, commercial exhibits, and carnivals. Enjoy pony rides, horse shows, the Cowgirl Museum, and several cafes and food vendors. Visit the horse stall, cattle area, and poultry and rabbits. Fort Worth Stockyards - The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District was designated and opened to the public in 1976 and is considered one of Texas' most popular attractions. You will find everything you need from vacation fun to Texas history. The district features excellent restaurants, fun shopping, and an endless list of family-friendly attractions. Tour the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame where you can learn about 58 of the top cowgirls and cowboys in Texas. Six Flags Over Texas - Arlington - Often called the entertainment capital of Texas, Six Flags Over Texas offers visitors a larger than life entertainment experience.
