HaHa Tonka State Park - just 25 minutes away. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is located approximately five miles south of Camdenton and is comprised of nearly 2500 acres on the Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. Robert McClure Snyder, inspired at seeing the Ha Ha Tonka area, began purchasing vast quantities of the land. He hired masons from Scotland and a European supervisor, to ensure that authentic construction techniques were used throughout. Visited by thousands each year, exploring Ha Ha Tonka State Park and the Castle Ruins is a memorable experience.
