Gilcrease Museum
|
Gilcrease Museum - This outstanding museum features an extensive collection of art of the American West and more. Visitors can see more than 400 artists in paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints. Artists include Fredric Remington, Charles Russell and Thomas Moran among many others. Upcoming exhibits will include Mount Vernon in Miniature, students' art and special selections from the corporate collection of A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. On permanent display are artifacts from some of the earliest civilizations, Native American art and Mexican art. The museum is open daily, 10 am to 5 pm. |
Oklahoma Aquarium

Oklahoma Aquarium - The Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks, Oklahoma tells the story of the sea with major theme galleries and hundreds of exhibits set in natural habitats. Visitors can walk through a wide range of ecosystems viewing a coral reef, huge sharks, and a special exhibit on the fish species of Oklahoma. A fishing tackle museum is also available to visitors. Don't forget to visit the gift shop and restaurant before you leave. |
Tulsa Zoo

Tulsa Zoo - Situated among 85 acres of beautifully landscaped acres, the Tulsa Zoo features more than 5,000 animals representing almost 450 species, 20 of which are rare and endangered. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour through the many exhibits including a chimpanzee habitat, an Amazonian rain forest, and a new African penguin exhibit. Upcoming exhibits will feature an elephant encounter, sea lions, an African Savanna, and Aldabra Tortoises. Visitors can enjoy train rides, food, and shopping as well. |
Big Splash Water Park

Big Splash Water Park - If you're looking for the "coolest fun under the sun," then Big Splash Water Park is the place to be. Visitors can enjoy seven-story tall water slides, a wave pool, float rides and a special kid's pool & play area. Tube rentals and lockers are available, as well as food and concession services.
