| Commemorative Air Force Museum - The origin of the Commemorative Air Force dates back to 1951, with the purchase of a surplus Curtiss P-40 Warhawk. A short while later, the group added a P-51 Mustang and then a pair of F8F Bearcats. At this point, the mission of the CAF became clear: save an example of every aircraft that flew during WWII ~ a mission no one else was undertaking. |

| The Petroleum Museum - Take a little time to learn about the Permian Basin in a fun, interactive way. The Petroleum Museum tells the story of petroleum and energy in our everyday lives through permanent collections, educational programs, and interactive exhibits. The museum holds the largest collection of art work by Tom Lovell, as well as the largest collection of antique drilling equipment & modern machinery. Interactive exhibits include the sea that covered the Permian Basin, a tour of oil wells, and a collection of industry & region-related artifacts. |

| Presidential Museum - The Presidential Museum is unique in that it is the only museum in the United States dedicated to the office of the presidency and all those who served in the office. The Hall of Presidents gallery offers visitors an opportunity to view objects related to individual presidents -- the collection of artifacts include campaign memorabilia of presidents and presidential hopefuls. Also shown in the intricate Dishong collection of First Lady iaugural gown miniature replicas. The Library of the Presidents contains more than 3,500 volumes of subjects relating to the presidents and the office of the presidency. Students, scholars and the general public invited to use the reference facility for research. |

Museum of the Southwest - Blending art & science, the Museum of the Southwest features an art museum, children's museum, and a planetarium. All ages and interests will find something to entertain them. The distinctive exhibits and exciting showcases of artists include contemporary art, indigenous southwestern art & artifacts, and special exhibits. You will see works by Kenneth Adams, Walter Ufer, Karl Boomer, and Alfred Morang, as well as an Audubon Quadruped collection. The Planetarium offers educational programs and daily shows featuring current night sky issues. The Art Museum's galleries are open to the public free of charge Tuesday - Sunday.
