| Longview Campground offers many outdoor and indoor activities to all campers. Enjoy the lovely setting and landscaping with some outdoor games like volleyball, horseshoe, and miniature golf. Enjoy the large recreation area where families or groups can play Frisbee, football, or just enjoy the fresh Pennsylvania air. There is a fishing pond, hiking opportunities, and an indoor/outdoor pavilion ideal for picnics and gatherings. The sparkling swimming pool is inviting on warmer days, or read a book and lounge poolside. |

There are several state parks and natural areas where visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, wildlife viewing, and birding. Cowans Gap State Park, the Mercersburg Reservoir, and Cove Mountain are all within driving distance of Longview Campground. Play a round of golf at Whitetail Mountain Golf Resort, visit the James McFadden Model Railroad Museum, or catch a show at the Pennsylvania Opry. The Mercersburg area offers flea markets, shopping for antiques and collectibles, and numerous gift shops for that special souvenir.
