April 8, 2013:
There is no new information on the sale, it seems like it is going forward, they are looking at closing the sale by May 1st, then the new owner would have to get a campground license and start up water, restrooms, the pool and everything so hopefully everything would be open and operating by May 15th. I will continue to keep you informed as things progress
March 31, 2013:
GOOD NEWS! There is now a sale pending on the campground! We are trying to get things together so the new owner will be able to open the campground on May 1st. We will keep you posted.
March 13, 2013:
Leisure Time Campground will not be opening this spring as usual.
Stacie¿s Lymphoma and Diane¿s passing away have forced us to the realization that we cannot continue to operate the campground adequately. We had hoped that it would not come to this but tough decisions had to be made, we continue to have hope that someone will purchase the campground and the operation will continue uninterrupted, but at this point we are not able to wait for that to happen.
We will truly miss each of you, our campers and friends and wish you all the best, if anything changes we will let you know.
