Lazy Lions Campground, now with 50 campsites, is your destination to relax and have fun in the very heart of beautiful Vermont. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, scenic walking/biking trails, clear night skies for star gazing and camping memories of a life time.
We offer a full variety of sites from full hookups and Pull-thrus with cable and wi-fi to wooded rustic tent sites. Plus we have cozy heated cabins with Cable TV, Refrigerators and electric fireplaces. Also 2 very nice, 2 slide campers on nicely landscaped sites for rent for the Day or Week.
We're offering dry-Camping for self-contained Motor Homes and Camping Trailers thru the end of October.

Due to what feels like the on-set of an early Winter we've closed our bath house but with an RV just fill your tanks with fresh water when you check-in. We're still a great overnight stop for people on the road--Come and spend the night, dump your tanks, do your laundry in our public laundromat with 12 washers and 16 dryers, and use our on-Site propane filling station to top off you tanks before you hit the road again!
Beautifully landscaped, spacious and clean campsites in a country atmosphere just 5 minutes from Interstate 89 (exit6) and downtown Barre VT.

| Lazy Lions Campground also offers 2 rustic cabins for those of you who don't own (or aren't traveling in) an RV, but still look for comfort and convenience in camping accommodations. For those of you who like to "rough it," try our secluded tent sites or our 2 dry Lean-To Shelters on beautiful wooded private sites. We're open from May 1st thru the end of October.

| Our country-rustic Rec Hall/Office with knotting pine paneling and wood stove is open 8am to 9pm. It's a great place to catch up on the day's news or ball game on the 50" flat screen. Bring your Laptop and e-mail your friends what they're missing. Happy Hour tends to occur most days at 4, and twice monthly pot-luck brunches and dinners are great fun for all campers to get together and meet new friends. |
