Enjoy fly fishing, hiking, biking, bird watching, motor cycling, and boating on our beautiful lakes!

Whether you like to go-go-go or sit in camp with a good book, you'll find what you're looking for while camping at Lassen Pines RV Park. Our area offers plenty of sights and excursions, from the beautiful McArthur-Burney Falls to the exotic formations at Lava Beds National Monument. Nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park has trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding in addition to its geologic wonders. You'll find lava flows, a wide variety of birds, and Native American artifacts at Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park. activities1

Swimming Pool
In the nearby town of Fall River Mills, you can stop by the Fort Crook Historical Museum to learn how the Fall River Valley was settled. The Fall River Valley Golf and Country Club is one of the loveliest in California, with wildlife, forests, rolling hills, and sweeping views. Just 10 minutes east of our campground is the Ash Creek Wildlife Area, home to many species of birds and other mammals.
If you like to fish, this is the place for you! Hat Creek, Pit River, Fall River, and Eagle Lake -- all located near Lassen Pines RV Park -- are renowned for their beauty and amazing fly fishing for trout (rainbow and browns). This is also a fabulous place to enjoy canoeing and kayaking on Mazanita Lake or Lake Britten. And our own town of McArthur hosts annual events like Airport Days and in August the Wild Rice Festival on the 1st Saturday as well as the Cutting Horse Show. On Labor Day weekend, enjoy the McArthur Inter-Mountain Fair for a taste of old-fashioned fair activities. And be sure to enter the Fall River Century Bike Race, held every year on the 3rd weekend in July. activities3

Plenty to do and see
Within the park, you can go hiking through our 68 acres, watch for birds and other wildlife, or go swimming in our heated pool. We have games like horseshoes, volleyball or badminton, and tetherball, plus regular horseshoe tournaments at our three regulation horseshoe pits. The company picnic area is perfect for family reunions, birthday parties, and group events. And of course you'll enjoy our quiet, peaceful setting when you stay with us at Lassen Pines RV Park, our Burney Falls campground in McArthur, California.
