| Shedd Aquarium - Just over one hour from camp, Shedd Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium and well worth the drive. Housing fish and sea life from all over the world, Shedd Aquarium has been offering exotic environments for visitors to experience since 1929. Today, the aquarium boasts five amazing exhibits including Amazon Rising, Oceanarium (Pacific Northwest), a Caribbean coral reef, fish from around the world, and Wild Reef, a brand new shark exhibit. You'll see anacondas, white-sided dolphins, parrotfish, and fish from North & South America, Asia, Africa, and even Illinois! Come early and spend the day viewing these animals up close and personal. |

| Lincoln Park Zoo - Among the oldest zoological institutions in the country, Lincoln Park Zoo is also among the most modern. Join the three million visitors that come every year. The zoo boasts 15 animal exhibits including giraffes, polar bears, Siberian tigers, sea lions, and gret African apes, as well as various birds and reptiles. You'll also have a chance to ride an endangered species carousel, cruise the South Lagoon in a paddle boat, or journey through the African safari. Visit one of the five cafes or gift shops before you leave. Lincoln Park Zoo is open 365 days a year and is free of charge. |

| Star Plaza Theatre - A 3,400-seat theatre with two levels and intimate layout, the Star Plaza Theatre has hosted some of the best performers of our time, including Wayne Newton, Jewel, Tim McGraw, Patti Labelle, and Anita Baker. Many performers kick off their national tours in this intimate theatre. Featuring shows year-round, the theatre offers a wide variety of performances. Lobby doors open one hour prior to show time.
