San Diego Zoo
San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park - Considered by many to be the best zoo in the U.S., the incredible San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park gives you a chance to see animals in their natural habitats. Follow the Monkey Trails, tour the Giant Panda Research Station, or view the chilly Polar Bear Plunge. You'll see Sun Bears relaxing in their forest environment, watch reptiles sunning on the mesa, and find yourself right in the thick of things at the Rain Forest Aviary. The park has a number of restaurants, cafes, and snack stands for meal times, and there's also a Children's Zoo, on-site ATMs, and rental strollers available. |

Sea World
SeaWorld San Diego - Explore the world of the sea at SeaWorld, one of San Diego's most popular attractions. With daily dolphin and orca shows to see, animals to meet, and rides to explore, you'll find plenty to do at the park. It's located just twenty miles from La Pacifica RV Resort, making it easy to head there for the day and see Shamu make a splash in the pool! Once you're there, be sure to take a ride on Journey to Atlantis and Shipwreck Rapids, then see the beluga whales, sharks, and walruses in the Animal Encounter area. You can touch and feed California bat rays as they swim through the water, then learn about manatees and polar bears. |

Old Town San Diego
Old Town San Diego - Take a step back in time when you visit Old Town San Diego, the historic center of this famous city. From incredible Mexi-Cal cuisine to historic buildings and special events, you'll be amazed by the color and vibrancy of this part of the city. Seaport Village
Seaport Village - If a day of strolling down seaside boardwalks, shopping at boutiques, and stopping in at fabulous restaurants is what you're after, look no further than Seaport Village. This 90,000 square foot area leads you down four miles of cobblestone pathways to a boardwalk that runs along San Diego Bay. Seaport Village is right downtown, so it's easy to reach. This is the perfect place to find souvenirs and gifts for loved ones, to catch a jazz or blues performance, and to find a terrific and memorable dinner spot. |
