Welcome to John Neal Memorial Park come explore, fish, raft the Santiam river and camp with us! John Neal Memorial County Park will close for the camping season on September 29th, 2008 and open again March 20th, 2009.
Two night minimum stay required on weekends (Three night minimum on Holiday weekends).

| The fishing and floating opportunities on the wild waters of the North Santiam are the main attraction for visitors to the 30 acre park. While camping or enjoying a picnic at John Neal, visitors can search for the parks abundant wildlife on trails that wind through wetlands and beaver ponds. To visit this gem on the North Santiam River, turn on John Neal Park Road (13th st) in the city of Lyons. The campground is open from mid-April through mid-October and offers 40 campsites, potable water and shower/restroom facilities. The park also offers picnic sites, a playground, boat ramp, hiking trails and reservable picnic shelter. John Neal boat ramp area provides activities on the North Santiam River. Fishing, Rafting or just site seeing. |

| John Neal ponds are a great place for your family to have an early morning or afternoon hike. The pond trail is around a half mile long and you can enjoy viewing the geese, ducks, frogs and beavers habitat while you walk. |
