Pay us a visit at Iron Horse RV Resort and spend some time mountain biking in Tuscarora, the Humboldt National Forest, and Spruce Mountain, or hiking in Lamoille Canyon or through the Ruby Mountains. Our natural area is a stunning place to enjoy rock climbing, horseback riding, and off-roading. The Elko area offers superb fishing and hunting near Angel Lake and Ruby Lake, as well as ATV and four-wheel driving along Harrison Pass, Corral Creek, Spruce Mountain, and Stag Mountain. You can explore the 120-acre Wildhorse State Recreation Area or take a tour of the amazing University of Nevada Fire Science Academy. Elko, Nevada is also a fantastic place for winter sports like skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, sledding, and snow-shoeing. |

You can camp with us at Iron Horse RV Resort and make day trips to see nearby attractions like the Northeastern Nevada Museum, the Elko Railroad Park, gold mine tours, and Quaint Lamoille, known as one of the most picturesque and historic towns in Nevada. Every year in January and February, the Western Folklife Center hosts the famous National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in addition to regular concerts, readings, and exhibits. And you'll certainly learn more about Elko's past when you take a Gold Mine tour or visit the Homestead and Stagecoach Stop at Sherman Station. |
