We're located on the stunning Cedar River, and amazing place to enjoy water sports like boating, fishing, or canoeing and tubing on the river, a great way to cool off on hot summer days. You can do some bird watching along the river, take a swim in the swimming pool, or settle back to enjoy the views during a picnic lunch or dinner. |

| You can make our campground near Iowa City into your home base while you set out for a day of hiking and backpacking through the woods or go hunting in one of the state's designated areas. Our area contains a number of 18-hole golf courses in addition to mini golf facilities, areas for horseback riding, and even beaches for sunning. Bring your own water-craft and make use of our local boat launch for lake fishing or a relaxing afternoon of paddling or rowing in the Iowa sunshine. |
| Right here in camp at Hunt's Cedar River Campground you can watch the kids play at our playground or do some biking on the paths. We pride ourselves on being a family park and we also allow pets, so the entire crew is welcome at our Tipton RV park. Take the whole gang on a day trip to see the artisans making brooms, quilts, and furniture at the Amana Colonies, then head for the water slides or return to camp for hayrides and the golf cart rodeo. |

| We host regular horseshoe tournaments at Hunt's Cedar River Campground, so be sure to warm up your game with a little practice as soon as you arrive. If you happen to visit during the holidays, count yourself lucky because you can enjoy our specially planned holiday activities. And right here in camp you'll find live entertainment during our karaoke nights or all-camp dances. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes and your zest for fun when you come camping in Tipton Iowa! |
