High Country Horse Camp exists to provide a friendly, safe and comfortable environment for horse owners and their friends to enjoy the national park riding trails. The staff will make every effort to satisfy the needs of guests to include wholesome meals, clean bath and restroom facilities, trail guidance, utility hook ups, and family oriented entertainment. |

| High Country Horse Camp is located in southwest Virginia (Smyth County), about an hour south of the intersection of Interstate 77 and Interstate 81, close to Marion, Virginia. The camp has direct access to the Mount Rogers National Recreation area and is located near Damascus, Virginia, one of the best trail towns in America. Various routes are recommended based on the length and size of horse trailers.
