The Florida to Virginia Bike Trail passes by the campground's front door, and Happy Acres is a favorite for bicyclist. Not only can you stop on this long trail, but there are several wonderful loop trails of many different lengths available on the back roads of rural South Georgia. The peaceful campground is conveniently located to Savannah, Brunswick, the Golden Isles, and Waycross. These areas offer interesting historical sites, world-famous golf courses, excellent antique shopping, and delicious dining.
