| Fishberry Campground features a horse arena and horse lodging, so if you travel with horses, you'll feel right at home! You'll be able to enjoy the stunning landscape, or find your own way among the hills and prairies. If you just want to relax, you couldn't ask for a better environment; the campground features two ponds, soft, green grass and the quiet of the countryside. Nearby, the Niobrara River flows with spring water and is a popular waterway for canoeing, tubing, kayaking and rafting. The waters travel at six to nine miles per hour, so it's ideal for beginners and families. You can bring your own equipment, or visit one of the local outfitters. If you'd like to stay dry, there are several state parks and natural areas along the river where you can view waterfalls, enjoy a picnic and walk on the hiking trails. |

| Fishberry Campground is right in the middle of excellent recreation and activities. In addition to the river, there are numerous places to bird watch and view wildlife like bison, elk and white-tailed deer. Take a scenic drive and stop at the beautiful overlooks. The campground is also conveniently located five miles north of downtown Valentine, so you can allow as much civilization as you like. In town, you'll find everything you need for a night on the town or a fun day of shopping & sightseeing on Main Street. There is even a casino just 4 miles North of the park!
