From the J4K Art Museum to the enduring legends of Hico, you'll find plenty of local sights and attractions to enjoy when you stay at EZ Duz It RV Park near Hico Texas. Use our park as your home base while you head out on day trips to sights like the town of Glen Rose, set just twenty-six miles away. You can view the scenic Chalk Mountains, then pay a visit to see the wild animals on the Animal Safari.

While you're in the Chalk Mountain area, be sure to stop at Dinosaur Valley State Park, set in lovely Somervell County. Kids will love viewing the enormous dinosaur models and seeing the dinosaur tracks, some of the best preserved in the world. Explore the geology and history of this dinosaur evidence, then do some hiking or mountain biking through the park. With its setting on the Paluxy River, this is also a fine place for river swimming or enjoying a picnic lunch with a riverside view.

Central Texas is filled with the legend of Billy the Kid. As you explore Hico, you can try to discover whether he really was the mysterious man named Brushy Bill Roberts who settled here in later life. Delve into this fascinating mystery, then set off on a day trip to see the original Dr. Pepper bottling plant, located in Dublin, Texas. The Bluebonnet Country Club, one of the oldest clubs in Texas, began in 1924 and was the site of the 1934 Masters. The Bluebonnet still offers many of the characteristics of the "OLD" course. Offering rental carts, reasonable green fees, and fexible tee times you'll find play is relaxed and open. A club room and bar are avaible. You will find the costs at the Bluebonnet remain the lowest of the region.
