| For high-altitude sports like skiing, snow-shoeing, inner tubing, and alpine hiking, just hop aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The tram will life you 8,500 feet above the desert floor into the mountains that surround Mount San Jacinto. If you prefer to keep to the lower elevations, you'll find excellent opportunities for rock climbing, horseback riding, swimming, and hiking alongside delicate desert flowers. |
