In Beautiful La Grandge, Texas...
On the Colorado River...with rustic natural trails for walking, fishing, and birding.
Great medical facilities and services, museums, tours, festivals, antique / craft fairs and bluebonnet trails. The Senior Citizen's Center, the churches, and the civic organizations welcome our guests to our community, programs, and activities.
This historic Central Texas community with its diverse culture, 1850's homes and buildings, and a recently refurbished downtown square, is truly delightful. Enjoy...

| A tremendous effort on the part of La Grange residents established the Main Street Program in the town of La Grange. True grit, dreams and historic preservation of buildings and revitalization of economics lie at the heart of the Texas Historical Commission's program.
The Historical Commission provides technical assistance through retail display consulting, marketing guidance, financial counseling, training of the Main Street Manager, and pro forma analyses. The facade paint program provides free paint to qualifying property owners in the Main Street area. A revolving loan fund provides below-market interest rate financing to businesses that qualify for assistance with more extensive renovation work.
