Whether you are searching for sunrises and solitude or wildlife and waterfalls, CLEMENTZ'S NORTHCOUNTRY CAMPGROUND AND CABINS is THE place to get up close and personal with Mother Nature and all that the Eastern U.P. offers!
Dan and I are seasoned campers and continue to be in awe of Mother Nature and what our area offers to all of us. We are pleased to offer to you our modern and rustic camping in a natural wooded setting. Clementz's Northcountry Campground & Cabins takes pride in the well maintained campground, lodging & other facilities; from keeping the bird feeders filled to protecting the many species of trees found on our property. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise or a berry picking stroll through our scenic woods, sit and listen to the many birds found in the campground or wait for the lonely cry of the coyotes at night The night skies are crisp and clear and often the Northern Lights provide a dramatic experience.

Enclosed Pavillion

Clementz's Northcountry Campground and Cabins of Newberry Michigan offers guests of the Campgrounds a wonderful enclosed Pavillion for groups and families to enjoy! The pavillion is large and comfortable and comes furnished with 8 picnic tables. Perfect for the family and large groups to take a break, strum a guitar, and relax in the great U.P.! |
| Tent campers who prefer rustic sites will appreciate our huge, grassy tent sites. The most popular rustic sites are located under majestic white pine trees. We also offer grassy sites that are more out in the open with less shade. All of our rustic sites are at a minimum of 80' x 80'. Some are even larger! Tenters may also enjoy the modern sites too; we have 2 electric sites that we allow tents on and 5 water & electric sites that we allow tents on. In order to protect our trees, and guests and staff, you may not rope, chain or nail anything to any of the trees or any of the utility pedestals. |

For our RV'ing guests, Clementz's Northcountry Campground & Cabins is BIG RIG FRIENDLY! All of our sites are level, grassy pull throughs and 85% of our 40 RV sites can accommodate any size rig including slide outs! In order to maintain our grassy sites, rugs and mats of any size or kind are not allowed. Some sites are shaded and others are more out in the open. |
