Welcome to Caney Creek RV Park
in Sargent, Texas
Sargent, located an hour southwest of Houston on the Texas coastline,
is known for some of the best fishing in these parts. The East
Matagorda Bay, Caney creek and the Gulf offer fisherman a multitude of
choices for wetting a line and catching their limit. Sargent beach is
a well-kept secret for those who like the beach but not the crowds. Up
to now, those who wanted to park their RV down our way, had no options
other than to buy a lot. We are a new, family owned and operated park,
open since December, 2002.

the hustle and bustle of the big city or some
relief from the cold up north, our quaint little
piece of southeast Texas promises to meet your
needs. |

Shaded Sites
Nestled in amongst historic oaks and pecans,
Caney Creek offers adequate shade for the hot
Texas summer months or more open sites for
enjoying the temperate Winter season. If you
visit us during the fall, you will want to help
yourself to our plentiful pecans, which a common
sight around the grounds of the park. |

Nice Black Tip
At Caney Creek you can fish the creek, the
Matagorda Bay or the Gulf. The Texas
Intercoastal Waterway is 5 minutes by car or 15
minutes by boat from the park. Our on-site fish
cleaning station, and new
boat ramp give you all the conveniences of the
local marinas without leaving the park. If you
are not a fisherman, personal watercraft and/or
deck boats are also a popular means of
entertainment in the local waterways. |

Close By Beaches
Located just minutes from the park, the Sargent
beach is a sprawling mass of open sand for those
that enjoy a beach without the crowds. The
recently constructed shelters with picnic tables
offer some nice shade for those that want to get
out of the sun. |
