Welcome to Campfire Lodgings!

Located on Goldview Knob, Campfire Lodgings is just ten minutes north
of Asheville, North Carolina. We have over 100 acres of pristine woods, numerous
trails, and a magnificent scenic overlook. We offer a variety of mountain lodging
possibilities from fully furnished cabins to yurts, tents, and RV sites.
Our campground is about 1/2 mile up the mountain and we have 19 RV
sites with water, electric, sewer, & 70 channel cable TV hookups. A phone is located in the laundry room. We also have free WiFi.

At night you can build a fire and watch the sun
set. Some nights have colors you only see in your
dreams. If you are an early riser you may have a
chance to watch the clouds rise up from the
valley below. On these mornings you get a feeling
of being on top of the world.
We have two cabins that sleep up to 6 people. The downstairs
bedroom has a queen or king size bed. Upstairs
has 2 twin beds and a twin futon. Downstairs,
the living room has a full size futon. Each cabin
has 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen,
washer/dryer, and a gas grill out on the deck. All you need to bring is your food and clothes. |
| Our Cliff House is about 3,000 sq. ft. with 3
bathrooms, 1 gas fireplace and 2 decks to sit and enjoy the fresh air. It sleeps up to 6
people and is a house unlike any you have seen
before.

| Come stay in one of our three cozy yurts where you can kick back and enjoy nature at its best in a georgeous mountain setting. With no roads or
highways in sight, you are above the fog, smog and noise. It's your home away from home. |

Our tent sites are all divided and each has a fire ring and a
picnic table. The tent sites are also wooded, some more private than others.
Our nature trails are located on the south side of the mountain and
are in their natural state. There are many places to stop, enjoy the
view, and let your spirit relax as you enjoy your vacation. You can have a picnic at our pond. You can also catch and release fish at our pond.
Our goal is to give you a care-free vacation where you can stay right here at the campground. Or you may want to take a short ride to the highest point east of the Mississippi (Mt. Mitchell, off the Blue Ridge Parkway). You may also want to visit Biltmore Estates to see how the other half lived. If rafting, horseback riding, or nature is your thing you won't find a better area to visit. Don't take our word for it, come see for yourself. |
