| Black Bear Golf Course - The Black Bear Golf Course is located in Carlton, Minnesota, right next to the Black Bear Casino. The course is a championship 18 hole course carved into the beautiful Northern Minnesota woodlands. The Black Bear Golf Course was designed by Gilmore Graves Golf, Inc. to be challenging yet enjoyable for ever level of players. You'll find a driving range and two practice greens, as well as carts equipped with a GPS system. The clubhouse includes a Pro Shop for all of your apparel and accessories needs, plus a full service snack bar. Enjoy refreshments on the deck overlooking the course. Lake Superior Zoo - Lake Superior Zoo is 16 acres of family fun with natural exhibits and wild animals. The Lake Superior Zoo is one of 210 zoos and aquariums to achieve National (AZA) accreditation; the only one outside of the Twin Cities metro area. Some of the featured animals include polar bears, Siberian tigers, snow leopards, grizzly and Kodiak bears, and kangaroos. See hundreds of fascinating animals including exotic and native species. While you're exploring the zoo be sure to check out the daily feedings, animal trainings, enrichment activities, and special events. You'll find great shopping at the Tiger's Paw Gift Shop and snacks and entrees at the Safari Café. The zoo is located in downtown Duluth at the base of West Duluth's Spirit Mountain in Fairmont Park.
