| This Kentucky RV resort features over 1200 feet of river frontage and a 36-foot fishing pier for fishing or to dock your boat. A public boat dock is available 1/4 mile from the campground with more than ample parking for trailers and vehicles. Fish off the pier or launch your boat on the Ohio River to pick the spot of your choice with some of the best fishing in Kentucky. Power boating is allowed on the river, so guests can enjoy water skiing, jet skiing, and more! Enjoy bird watching or wildlife viewing along the banks of the river. Enjoy some outdoor games like volleyball, horse shoes, bocce ball, baseball, basketball, or have a family picnic in the campground's picnic areas. This Ohio River campground also features space for biking, a large open field for 4-wheelers, a playground for younger campers, and fire rings at each site so you can enjoy a classic campfire. You can always just relax in your lawn chairs and watch the pleasure boats and barges on the river. | The Ohio River campground is convenient to many additional recreational activities and area attractions, including several city parks, the Museum of the American Quilter's Society, the River Heritage Museum, a performing arts center, "wall to wall" murals, and a 1905 Market House and Theater. The campground is also just 20 minutes from downtown Paducah, Kentucky, which is a bustling district with antique stores, specialty shops, unique cafes and restaurants, and more. The Ohio River RV resort is just a short drive from several golf courses and the beautiful Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area, where guests can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, scenic driving, and more. |
