After you warm up your figure skating and hockey skills at the Ice Sports Center, catch a game with the pros when the Bakersfield Condors take to the ice. Feel the speed of Arena Football as you watch a Bakersfield Blitz game, rooting on our home-town favorites. Then enjoy an afternoon in the sun when the Bakersfield Blaze baseball team takes on their rivals. You can even head to Bakersfield College or California State University, Bakersfield to see what collegiate sporting events are going on. |
| If heart-stopping speed strikes your fancy, head for the Bakersfield Speedway to enjoy stock car dirt-track racing. At the Famosa Raceway you'll find drag races that will leave you breathless. Afterward, settle your nerves with a relaxing visit to CALM, the California Living Museum. Catch a play or performing arts event at the Rabobank Arena, then visit our own Kern County Museum to learn more about our region's past. |
