Summer visitors and residents appreciate the quiet pace of summer life in the valley. There is always a nice afternoon breeze and the pool is invites you to dive in. Aside from regularly planned activities - this year Residents offered water aerobics, bicycling, bird watching excursions, and crafts. AmeriCana is a small park and there is always something to do. Even if it is only lounging by the pool with a good book, or taking a leisurely stroll though the Hawley Bird Refuge.

We are famous for our weekly jams, breakfasts and potlucks. Gather for pokino, monthly potlucks, weekly dine outs, and holiday parties. Or just kickback and enjoy the solitude and peaceful garden atmosphere. |

If you have the energy, desire and idea anything is possible. Who wants to start a slow pitch soft ball League? GOLF or bicycle riding anyone! AmeriCana is home to a world renowned butterfly expert, wood carvers, and a scrimshaw artist. We are always looking for artisans and craftsman who want to make AmeriCana their home and share their talents. |
