| AOK Campground and Marina is situated on the north side of Lake Delta, which provides excellent opportunities for all kinds of water recreation. Guests can enjoy a day on the water with boating, fishing, and swimming. AOK Campground and Marina offers a full-service boat marina featuring a boat launch, boat rentals. The boat launch is open year-round. Fishing is excellent with an abundance of trout, pike, bass, bullhead, and perch. Cast a line from your boat or shoreline. Other activities around Lake Delta include picnicking, hiking on nature trails, wildlife viewing, and birding. AOK Campground and Marina occasionally offers planned activities and festivities including bingo, card tournaments, parades, picnics, musical events, and an annual fishing tournament. |
| The campground's close proximity to the Adirondack Mountains provides even more recreation for the adventurous and not-so adventurous with peaceful hikes, mountain climbing, cross-country skiing, fishing, and more. Westernville is near the quiet communities of Rome, Utica, Binghamton, and Syracuse, all offering a haven for craft-lovers and antique hunters; visitors will find charming shops and quaint cafes. Binghamton offers the Ross Park Zoo, enchanting villages, and scenic beauty. There are also several state parks in the area worth visiting, including Pixley Falls State Park and Verona Beach State Park. |
